VFC Nepal took the initiative to build a school named Shree Kalyandevi secondary school funded by Nepal Belgium Youth Club and Bush for Nepal-UK.

One of the biggest hindrances in the education system of Nepal particularly in the remote areas of the country is scarcity of basic resources for a school to run properly. VFC Nepal is attempting to provide these resources by constructing a school so that the children living in remote Nuwakot can at least receive basic education especially after the earthquake which reduced everything to rubble. Although this project has started in a grass root level VFC Nepal is certain that such projects will flourish in near future and have a further positive impact on the education system of Nepal in remote areas. One other objective of the project is to use the school as a shelter should the disasters such as earthquakes occur.
